Alright, Mission 3 will proceed. Spritedude and IRHP, you must make your way into a Spy datacenter and install the contents on this USB thumb drive onto one of the servers. If successful, the next time anyone tries to access it, they will be greeted with an animated image of a large man saying "Ah ah ah, you didn't say the magic word."

The USB thumb drive apparently had been overwritten and instead began playing very loud porn on every device connected to the Spy network

Yeah pretty certain about IRHP now. RU hasn't done much this game, but it's because of that there isn't really anything to go off of for him being resistance. So I think there's a good chance he's the other spy.

I propose a team of me, Kat, and Spritedude.

trying to figure out if it's possible for Spritedude to be a spy but my brain hurts... I think it's either Sprite/DZ or RU/IRHP. Unlikely to be Sprite/IRHP because of Mission 3, impossible to be Sprite/RU because of Mission 2.

If it's Sprite/DZ then
-DZ put two Resistance on Mission 1 to make themself look good
-I put DZ + two Resistance on 2
-Sprite put himself and a Resistance on 3

If it's RU/IRHP then
-DZ put 1 Resistance/1 Spy on 1; Spy voted success to long con
-I put IRHP + two Resistance on 2
-Sprite put himself and a Spy on 3

The second scenario seems more plausible, at least to me. But I am going to hold my vote pending further input.

Well... hm. Okay so working under the assumption that I'm Resistance, there's 6 possible spy teams.

DZ/RU - Impossible since neither were on Mission 3.
DZ/IRHP - Unless they're really good at wordlessly coordinating I'd say unlikely since both went on Mission 2 but there was only one Sabotage.
DZ/Kat - ^Same as above.
IRHP/Kat - ^^Same as above.
IRHP/RU - Entirely possible since IRHP was on both failed missions.
RU/Kat - Impossible since neither were on Mission 3.

IRHP and RU seems to be the most likely scenario. Neither of them are on this proposed mission so it should be a success.

Spritedude is most certainly a spy... The other is Kat or DZ, and my intuition says Kat. I don't see a benefit to sending a spy and two others with the highest chance of being spies on a mission. RU and I are certainly Resistance. Since the next missions each have 3 members, is there even a way to succeed now? I think the only way would be to send RU, DZ, and I, hoping it succeeds, then sending the same team again.

You're pretty good at this, I suppose it comes with experience. Although this is my first time playing, I still thought that it was a bit odd that you'd delay your vote. I figured you were just being prudent, but also entertained the notion that perhaps it may be an elaborate defense set-up in advance for when you're accused of being a spy. I dismissed the latter possibility as paranoia on my part, but now I'm quite sure that you are indeed the other spy, along with Spritedude. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

If I'm a spy, and I'm on this team, that's game over because two missions have failed and two people have already voted yes for this mission (because the host counts the leader as an auto-yes), that's what I'm trying to say.

Hm... It still seems most plausible that IRHP/RU are the spies, but Kat/Spritedude is also very possible since they were part of their respective failed missions. My intuition tells me that Kat is probably Resistance based on the way she's playing seeming very genuine, but at the same time she has experience with this game, so she could be a spy who knows the right things to say.

IRHP/Spritedude is also technically possible I suppose, but since Mission 1 with IRHP succeeded and Mission 3 only had one sabatoge between the two of them, it just seems like an odd set of circumstances if it were true.

I'm standing by my original proposition. I'm feeling a bit less confident now that I've thought it over some more, but I still think it's probably our best shot of not immediately losing.

It's too risky to jump into a 3-man mission without knowing for sure who both spies are. I'm feeling pretty confident about SpriteDude being a spy, perhaps along with IRHP. I'm at least confident enough to not want to push for the mission to be sent on its way. Otherwise, feeling confident that Kat is resistance. There'd be no reason not to hammer if she wasn't, as she's said.
