Pokemon Red. Going with Charmander to make it a tad challenging, I usually go with Squirtle. Probably will limit myself to whoever my first team is for a bit more challenge.

^Catch a Chansey. Also go Jolteon----------Jolteon naturally learns Pin Missile. Juice him up on Carbos so he hits first, and them Psychics won't stand a chance in heck.
boo--------------de dirigiblez in flames, everyboddyz dead, and he lost his hat

I've been going through Mega Man 7 and I think I discovered an entirely new method for beating Wily without recovery items, one I've never seen anyone discuss anyway. I had already mastered this like nearly 20 years ago (omg) but that was mostly just based on executing a lot of difficult evasions. This method is a ton easier, to the point that if people did already widely know about it then he wouldn't still be considered an especially tough boss. I think that's kinda neat, if true.
EDIT: Hm, nope, the strategy is out there, I guess people just suck at this game lol.

mega man 7 is hella underappreciated imo. the ONLY thing i dont like about it is the instrument samples for the music.

Yeah, I was reading a retrospective about it and I saw complaints about the music and my nostalgia instantly went into defense mode, but as I kept replaying the game recently I noticed it uh, sometimes sucks. Especially Auto's theme.

I had a lot of fun with this game!
As for my Nintendo plans, I just finished Luigi's Mansion 3, also a lot of fun, and I'm thinking I might get the FFVIII remaster to replay next. Or Celeste.

I haven't played much since I started because I've been busy but it's super fun! I'm terrible at platformers but if they are your thing, I strongly recommend celeste.

^ Real talk, if the world is unfortunate enough for me to reproduce and I have a daughter, I 100% want to name her Madeline Celeste.
