Been playing Doom 3 with sikkmod and some custom damage values, because they make crap jump out at you and such otherwise. I don't mind having to respond fast, but I expect monsters to die when I shoot them. Incidentally, the sikkmod doom 1/2 damage model for the lost souls was broken, someone put an extra 0 on there. Took something like 10-12 shotgun blasts to kill just one of them, meanwhile they could kill me with like 3 bites and they tend to come in swarms. Yech. I made the shotgun and plasma rifle do a lot more damage because why the hell were they so weak anyway. Makes the game a lot more fun, feels more Doom-like.
Also Minecraft. I hadn't gotten to run it since 1.8 really and finally got around to really investigating new features added in .9 and .10 - combat got really intense and the spawns for enemies are way more aggressive. Go figure. Pretty cool overall, though, definitely makes combat more engaging overall.

At the time I play again the game World of Tanks.
I have not played the game for a long time, the last time a year ago. I must say that it has not become boring at all. The game is just cool. For me it is one of the best online games ever. Only recommendable!

Taking advantage of my time off work and playing Unreal Gold all the way through. I played a fair bit of it when it was current, and I like the older style, although it's a bit strange to me to see that people compared this to id Software shooters of the era. In terms of quality and control, the design seems a bit more like it's left reaching at times. Variety in enemies is a bit sparse. Plot is rather poorly related, definitely not on par with Half Life. Still, it's overall a solid game and an interesting departure from the Romero method from the era prior. It feels at times like it could be an alpha for Metroid: Prime, and that's a good thing.

Still playing what I was before, but with the recent addition of Tales of Berseria, which I'm loving so far. It still has a lot of the series' perpetual flaws, but this is the first time since ToS that I feel like they're actually trying instead of just endlessly recycling the same jokes, mechanics, and characters. Not that the new characters are entirely original for them, but sticking slight variations on those archetypes into a dark and serious plot where they're completely and deliberately out of place was apparently all it took for me to start liking them. Here's hoping they can actually keep it up.
I can also say more about the characters after four hours than I could about anyone in FFXV after ten, so there's that. >_>
