I found only one flaw with Meta Knight. It's a glitch in Kirby Air Ride. If you go to City Trial Free Run as Meta Knight and lose all of your health, he can't get back up!!!

Needless to say, you'll have to restart.

I think I know the meaning of his name. 'Meta' is the latin word for 'middle', thus making his name, "middle knight", or "midnight". OOO-EEE-OOO!
