Thanks all for the lovely welcome! Just to get a feel for the scene here... What gaming styles / genres / series are your faves?

I'm partial to Pokemon / Final Fantasy, Animal Crossing, Halo 1&2, Unreal Tournament '99, old ghost-town MMOs, Age of Empires, most Sony 1st/2nd party... And I'm a big retro collector!

Pokemon peaked with Gold / Silver / Crystal and it's remakes, don't @ me unless you concur with that Gen 2 perfection.

I'm a collector, myself. I really love Dreamcast and PSX games, and strategy guides in general, and Skylanders. Half-Price Books is a collector's dream store.

Have you watched and/or read 'Please Tell Me! Galko-Chan'? That's my favourite contemporary anime/manga. It's a hoot.

We can't be friends anymore. (My faves are gens 3 and 5 in that order) but srsly I too am into the (early) final fantasies and also I like roguelikes. Realized I forgot to ask you at mag but do you like tabletop/board games? That's my other main thing I enjoy.

I tend to like puzzle games, platformers, and third-person action-adventure type games whether it be a massive open-world type game or a third-person shooter.

I'm really open to most things other than FPSes, which I respect but am so bad at that I hardly even try with them at this point.
