OK I said I wasn't posting in this thread anymore but I'm making an exception

Halloween chiptune album! Made by a group of talented Famitracker musicians (and me). Lots of covers of spooky video game songs, some you probably know.
I covered a Maniac Mansion song because that's a thing I do.

Here's another collaboration album but this one I actually curated myself
It's all Famicom-based chiptune covers of songs from the Mario franchise. There's some good stuff in there, including a ground theme medley where everyone contributed at least one section

Re: DarkZero's Music
Got some nice beeps and boops there. Makes me think of those horrible licensed games that had soundtracks way better than they deserved, like Silver Surfer or Fester's Quest.

Re: DarkZero's Music
ok i was like really productive last summer and made a lot of songs for 3 different famitracker collabs that came out all around the same time so here they all are:
Journey Through the Generations - Real Famitracker Hours
This collab by RFH is covers of Pokemon songs throughout the whole franchise, which came out December 20th. My contributions are Inanimate Golden Rod (Goldenrod Gym from Pokemon Puzzle League) and Shades of Lavender (Lavender Town from Pokemon RBY).
Ice Chips - The Famislackers
This collab by The Famislackers (which is my own group) is covers of ice themes from across all video games, which came out December 24th. My contributions are Big Blizzard in my Back Yard (Blizzard Man from Mega Man 6) and Two Frozen Monkeys (In A Snow-Bound Land from Donkey Kong Country 2).
Big Boss Bits - Elite Bit Agents
This collab by Elite Bit Agents is covers of boss themes from across all video games, which came out January 18th (literally half an hour ago from posting this). My contributions are Kill Him Wily Sleeps (Wily Boss from Mega Man 3) and Bone Zone (Bonetrousle from Undertale).
i would recommend any of these albums. not just because i'm on them but everyone who contributed is incredibly talented and skilled and they make great music.

Re: DarkZero's Music
I skipped ahead to your song, DZ, you did some nice work on that. There are some ambient sounds and interesting samples in that Paper Mario track that you handled well with the chip tube set. I’ll listen to the rest of the album a bit later.
Nice work on those sprites, Val.

Re: DarkZero's Music
^ Thanks.
This is pretty dang good. I'll have to check out the rest of the tracks after work tonight. Also, I really dig the Gorillaz cover.

Re: DarkZero's Music
hey, you guys like Stickerbrush Symphony? because i did it
its done with the VRC6 expansion chip, which was used in games like Castlevania III JP and Shovel Knight. not that it really sounds like either of those games, but still!
