Who uses Discord?

Discord is a chat client designed primarily for gaming lobbies and stuff but is also great for general use.

Most of my friends migrated here from Skype, to the point that I barely use Skype anymore, so I'm wondering what everyone else's experiences are. I'm thinking about hosting a group for VGF if it's popular enough.

Not me, I don't discard when I play Yu-Gi-Oh, I try to use cards even if I don't need them because discard feels like a wast--

...what? Discord? I think I heard one of you guys mention it before but that was it.

I use it to tell peeps what I want for dinner at my weekly D&D group. The perks of this are that I have adorable Twitch sub emotes that carry over into Discord 8)

Never heard of it outside of this board. I thought it was a brony thing.

Discord is basically the evolution of IRC. Lots of individual game communities use it, along with speedrunners, glitch hunters, etc...basically any group that would have an IRC channel has moved on to Discord, for the most part.

I believe that is the only real thing Skype has over Discord. It doesn't have video.
