Grizzly Bear vs. Tiger vs. Gorilla

#1

Kodiak bear (Ursus arctos middendorffi)
Image

Siberian tiger (Panthera tigris altaica)
Image

Eastern lowland gorilla (Gorilla beringei graueri)

Assume:
  • an individual of each of the three species is placed in a lightly-wooded area;
  • all three individuals are male;
  • they all have an overpowering desire to kill each other.
Who would come out on top?

so like realistically, the tiger would win. Gorilla is **** against both, lots of strength but they arent really natural predators, they dont often go for the kill and react if provoked.

Bear and tiger is a close call, but the closing factor would be the tigers naturally high agility combined with the fact they literally just go and bite the throat.

bears are still da best do.

^^Yeah, they're two different subspecies. (Huh. I wonder if they're reproductively isolated from each other. Could someone make a terrible hybrid?)

In any event, kind of have to go with bear. They are so strong, and massive. Like, they're generally timid around man, but they don't take any sh*t, either--------like, if the fight was on, the bear would win. Tiger takes second place. Gorillas are strong, but they don't have natural weaponry. Puts them at a major disadvantage.

also fun fact gorillas bulk is mostly caused by their mostly vegetarian diet, which produces a large amount of gas which gives the gorilla its bulky look. I think thats how it goes but ive been wrong in the past

Its a close one, but i seriously stand by tiger because of those claws and teeth. plus their instinctual tactics when it comes to killing, bears maul and crush, tigers and other big cats go for the neck. but the bears skin might be able to put up a reasonable fight against the teeth god the more i think about this the tougher this question gets.

Has anyone seen the faces of people who get pummeled by chimps? Imagine getting socked by a gorilla. We're also talking about a wooded area so the gorilla has a slight advantage with trees and branches.

Both the gorilla and bear are powerhouses. The tiger is deadly with its claws but the problem with the tiger is that it's a strict four-legged animal. It can't defend itself on two legs. The gorilla could easily break its back with a swing down on its vertebrae. Ther bear could also easily just swipe a paw and the tiger would also be hopeless. Bears can kill a freaking bull with a single swipe. A tiger is most dangerous to unsuspecting prey, since it's able to pounce. It's not really adapted to stick around in a battle for long.

Now the gorilla against the bear is the real fight. Gorillas begin a fight by beating their chest hoping their opponent would back down. I doubt a grizzly would feel threatened by that. The gorilla first relies on a bluff but when a bear is mad it's f*cking mad - it doesn't bluff. The bear has claws so the gorilla is trumped there. A gorilla tends to rely on reading an opponent's facial expressions but bears hardly have any facial expressions, so the gorilla would be hard pressed to figure it out.

I'd go with the bear.

Hard to say; I mean, tigers are stronger & faster & Jake has better judgement, but bears have more attack options & Rachel is more ferocious, but gorillas are more agile & Marco is smarter.

And remember, "I'm-Aximili, number one!"

^Dunno about tigers being stronger. I concede their speed, but bears are huge, man.

Now that bulls have been mentioned, it would be cool if they were involved and I'd bet on the bull. I saw a bull fling a mother f**king car on tape, one good charge would implale any of these creatures and they would be flung ragdoll style.

gorillas are strong and all as mentioned but keep in mind also that a gorillas body and a chimps body are built for VERY different things one would assume chimps have better digit strength and dexterity than their knuckle walking brethren. Gorillas are dope as **** and all but you dont beat good weaponry.

^^...'fling'?

Bulls are strong. But I have a hard time picturing that.

Like, I've watched a lot of nature documentaries. And, you know, sometimes animals attack. So if a rhinoceros charges a car, and all it manages is to push it a foot or two, I can't picture some moo-cow doing better.

Not saying it couldn't happen-------just saying I can't see it.

I'll try to find the video, but if memory serves, definitely some fling action.
