Are either of these doomed or are we completely unaware? Or are they destined for success?

I don't care if I died, I'd still go to Jurassic Park. Better than some grimey old ship.

Do I get to pack?

If I can bring big guns to Jurassic park, I'm in.
Your still alive while you are drowning.
True. But think about it this way:

When you are drowning, that means you are dying due to lack of oxygen. Once your brain becomes deprived of this necessity, you will fall into a sleepy, almost unconscious state. At your body begins to shut down, you will hardly notice (after the first few minutes of thrashing around in the water) as you drift from life into death.

Now, being eaten by a dinosaur. Being knocked over and eviscerated by an animal would be a very long, painful experience. Not to mention, it would be horrifying, seeing some animal tugging at your intestines. Not the same dreamy, near-painless way to die as drowning.

Either way, I would still go to Jurassic Park. Dinosaurs are just so damn cool.

If I knew about the danger: Titanic, because it's much easier to stay above water than it is to fend off a pack of raptors.

If I didn't know about the danger: Titanic, because I'd just be expecting a relaxing cruise as opposed to a handful of rails separating me from a freaking T-rex.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
