Re: Best streaming service.
Of the options given, I use Netflix the most probably. Amazon Prime has gems but has the worst user interface on the planet. Hulu has been getting better but their movie selection has never been particularly great. Disney+ has its appeal as a nostalgia machine but overall not much appeals to me, plus its user interface isn't very great either (the fact that there's no "skip to next episode" option especially when its "continue watching" feature is regularly wrong, the fact that it doesn't keep subtitles on even if you're watching two episodes back-to-back).
Netflix has increasingly gone for quantity over quality, but there's still enough original programming I like and they seem to be willing to take risks with some of their programming (like a half-hour Lonely Island musical special based on Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire or an anime based on Sturgill Simpson album).
I think overall HBO is probably my preferred service because they've got a good backlog of their original programming and a lot of relatively recent movies.

Never had a problem with Amazon Prime UI. Do you watch on a TV or a computer?

Can't we all just get along? Netflix & the Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ bundle combined cost like half the price of basic cable. Mix that with some some bunny-ears for local channels & loads of free stuff (YouTube, Pluto, Crackle, Tubi, et cet) & you're sittin' pretty.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Twitch. Kappa
(my real answer is a combination; right now the only thing I personally pay for is Prime but will probably pick up Hulu or sth at some point)

...I mean, with Netflix, you can download stuff to your mobile device. That's good for anyone who takes at least four seventeen-hour train rides to and from Dakota per year.

That actually sounds kind of fun. Can you rent a tiny room with a bed on said train?Booyakasha wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 8:41 am...I mean, with Netflix, you can download stuff to your mobile device. You can, if you feel like paying loads extra for it. Maybe I'll try it out some time.
