In case you missed it, the NFL plans to air one of the Wild Card playoff games on Nickelodeon. With its own Nickelodeon-style twist, of course. The NFL hopes this will appeal to kids.

Look, NFL? If you want kids to get interested in sports, I don't think it needs green slime.

I think you need to actually show the game. No commercials. No commentary pointing out what we already saw. Game only. Final destination.

^^Projecting a SpongeBob face into the goalposts? That's transparent desperation from a failing league to hook in viewers who don't care about their broadcasts with gimmicks that have nothing to do with the actual game. It sounds like that April Fool's Day Jeopardy where they spliced in things from other episodes that didn't affect the gameplay, except this isn't April Fool's Day.
