Trivia:
--The 3DS & WiiU versions have different patterns to their moving platforms. The Ultimate version uses both patterns.
--The Yellow Devil is from Mega Man 1, but the stage itself is designed based on Mega Man 2.
--Upon defeat, the Yellow Devil explodes; that becomes an attack that can hurt every player except the one who landed the killing blow on it.
--Nightmare & Nikki cannot be summoned here.

Metal Face can be dodged. Pyrosphere Ridley can be dodged. Dark Emperor can be dodged. Nabbit can be dodged. But this stage is too small, the Yellow Devil is too big, it stands too close to the edges, it warp-attacks too often, & it can only be damaged when it's firing its laser; it cannot be dodged. I'm really bummed there isn't just a "no stage boss" option between "standard" & "no hazards", but sadly you can't play this stage with just the moving platforms on; it's either Yellow Devil or Final Destination.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I give them credit for picking a very iconic Mega Man boss to use on the stage, but Yellow Devil is iconic for the wrong reasons. I would have preferred the Wily Capsule as a stage boss, similar to his assist trophy. I think that's something people associate more with the MM2-style Wily Castle anyway.
