Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light.
It started off alright I guess but it's hard and the dungeons are too repetitive and maze-like. I don't have the patience this one required.
It's got better characters than Bravely Default but a similar story, it feels like a prototype for it in a lot of ways.

Re: What Nintendo game are you currently playing PtII?
I decided to give Breath of the Wild another chance. I still had my old save and started out liking it more, but all the same frustrations built up after about the same amount of time. Might be something I'll beat over the course of years in very spaced out six hour increments.
Otherwise, Sonic Mania and Seiken Densetsu.
Also abandoned Xenoblade Chronicles II a while back. It's definitely the kind of thing that'll be amazing for a specific niche of JRPG fans that like the whole single-player MMO thing, but I think it's best summed up with this clip of the battle system and shouts functioning exactly as intended: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNW93w8BLhc
Really, that's not a bug. Every battle is like that.

Almost done with another 100% Majora’s Mask run. The New 2DS XL is a really sweet system.

Dragon Quest IV DS. It's...well, it's certainly Dragon Quest, no doubt about that.
I decided to grind for the best equipment available in the first city. Took an hour. I got to the next city and there was already much better available, and it is incredibly expensive. The city is literally only 90 seconds away, tops, and it isn't just one set but there's multiple levels above what I have. That isn't too common in my experience. I regret the grind.

Still banging my head against Celeste on Switch. Working on C-Sides right now, in Chapter 4. Debating whether or not I’m gonna trying for the Golden strawberries. I feel like after doing C-Sides, I can probably do it.

L.A Noire. I don't like the gameplay much, might just watch a LP.

^The story is super-great, definitely the main draw. I wonder if it would achieve the same impact if one watched it in an LP rather than playing it oneself.

I can tell it's a good story, but yeah, I don't know if it will be as impactful to LP it. I can't get a good read on the character's expressions enough to be accurate anyway though so I probably wouldn't be missing much. I certainly won't miss the GTA parts.Booyakasha wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 9:50 pm^The story is super-great, definitely the main draw. If they put SSB64 online I'd definitely play it again.

I'm cruising through New Super Mario Bros Wii because I never beat it. It's certainly New Super Mario Bros. on the Wii. Mhmm.
