What Nintendo game are you currently playing PtII?

Bout Hollow Knight though I haven't put much into it yet. Seems like a fun Metroidvania game that will make me want to throw my Switch at the wall.

Also bought Lumines Remastered since it's $15 and I've never played it. I'm digging it so far and I'm expecting it to take over my free time like some Tetris games have in the past. Gonna take me a bit to get decent at it and I'm making too many dumb mistakes but it's a fun time.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. It didn't grab me back when it first came out, but the second time around I'm loving it. It's immediately recognizable as both Persona and Etrian Odyssey without losing much of either series, and so far it's got a better battle system than either of them individually.

Now that we also have a Switch (shoutouts to squeege bc omfg Y A Y!!!) but are waiting for some games to come in I did a bunch of demos! Earthlock seems pretty cool. Disgaea 5 looks like it won't break my brain like the other titles do. Quest of Dungeons was kinda cool, one of those things where if it goes on sale I'll probably get it. Naturally, I'll be getting Puyo Puyo Tetris at some point.

It's so so good but the endgame pissed me off. But that was after I put in like 70 hours of total enjoyment, so I can't be too mad.

^Yeah, I saw your post in the other thread. FFIII did the same thing, but I also didn't enjoy that nearly as much. And I'm in supergrindmode atm so hopefully I'll be prepared???

Playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Game Gear) for 3DS. It's bad, and I have a fair tolerance for bad 2D Platformers, and usually give classic Sonic a pass, but yeah, this is the worst Sonic I've played on GG so far. Sonic Chaos and Triple Trouble were fine so I expected this to be decent but it's not. Not sure I want to play Sonic 1 (GG) now... At least StH2 is unique from the Genesis version, otherwise I'd not have even tried it. It even has a different story than the Genesis version, you need to save Tails. Kinda neat.

Gamecube, DS, Nintendo 64. That's all I have for now. I know I probably missed a boatload on the DS and Gamecube.

I've never once played a fire emblem game. Does that make me a bad person?

I'll have to pick up ToS if you're still playing it in 2018 lol.

Aside from what's been mentioned for NGC, Lost Kingdoms (there's a sequel I haven't played) is good, and it has one of the best Fire Emblems. N64 has Quest 64, it's better than people would lead you to believe but it's not great.

I loved the lost kingdoms series. I actually did a thread about series revivals when I joined VGF and it was mentioned. They just don't make "caRd-PGS" as they used too. Chain of Memories was a bad call to do the card way. I'm sure some people liked the little remake. The Gameboy Advance version seems good. It made sense to have that formula to compensate for the GBA.

Was the sequel good? As for CoM, I liked the GBA version but the world layout was plain bad, despite combat being interesting. The remake didn't do much for me.

Re-discovered Animal Crossing New Leaf... and all my villagers missed me. I actually felt bad and sent them all gifts and then Nate moved in... so, all is good!!

^^Hmmm. I should check in on my 'Animal Crossing' village. It's been more than a decade.

...I could cheat. Dial back the clock, pretend it were 2004 all over again. I don't remember the last time I played it. Presumably whatever time I put in, either the town will be choked with weeds or...I dunno, Mr. Resetti will show up and bite my thumbs off or something.

[EDIT:Hahaha oh wow. Just loaded up 'Animal Crossing'. The "talking to folks" tune threw me momentarily-----------after a couple listens, I recognised it as this. Must have changed it during a bender back when I was on my 'Ranma 1/2' kick back around 2003 or so.

I'm about to try Skyrim on Switch soon. I wonder if it still holds up, haven't tried it since it launched for PS3.
